December 17, 2024 – Rayong, Thailand – The Sustainable Manufacturing Center (SMC) held its Open House event at the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi) in Wang Chan, Rayong. The event brought together industry experts for a series of seminars, knowledge-sharing sessions, and business matching activities aimed at expanding networks in the manufacturing sector.
The event, themed 'Sustainable Digital Transformation,' focused on enhancing industrial capabilities, advancing Thailand’s manufacturing sector, and promoting sustainable production practices. Attendees were able to explore cutting-edge technologies and solutions showcased by SMC members, designed to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce damage, and optimize power consumption.
Among the featured products, Cleantech and Beyond, an SMC member, presented its innovative DTI-QR and DTI-RFID temperature measurement stickers. These smart stickers provide a solution for monitoring temperature changes in factory equipment. The stickers change color to indicate temperature variations and offer digital data when scanned with the Thermotrace application.
The DTI is designed to minimize equipment damage, reduce human error, and streamline data reporting by directly integrating with software systems via the Thermotrace application. This innovation empowers factory workers to easily check equipment temperatures, ensuring better safety standards and contributing to enhanced production efficiency and maintenance practices.
The SMC Open House 2024 emphasized the role of digital transformation in the manufacturing industry, highlighting technologies that pave the way for a sustainable and efficient industrial future.
